Launching a product like InDefero while doing consulting work and supporting legacy products is more than a full time job. I sadly left a lot of things lying in my inbox since January. The end result is not sustainable, that is, I really really need to clean the backlog, answer the long due emails, thanks friends and colleagues, clean my personal and professional accounting, finish some of my projects, etc.
So, for the next 2 weeks I will do nothing new. I will just clean the stack. For the software oriented people, you can translate this as: 2 weeks bug fixing with but no work on feature requests.
I decided to call that my Nothing New Week and I will make one every quarter, at the end of my accounting quarter, as I always need to clear the stack at that time. Maybe a All New Week to balance it would be welcomed.
Update log:
- Emails in control, now time for the company accounting.
- Company accounting in control, still some customers to invoice.
- Integration of InDefero in my accounting software to generate the invoices done.
- Still some consulting work to finish/invoice, this will be hard.
