Good Bye 2016, Hello 2017!
I hope you enjoyed a fruitful 2016 both at work and at home. Maybe the work at home was taking care of a garden, renovating a house or taking care of kids and partner. Maybe your home at work was pushing limits in the efficiency of your company processes, tools and being a catalyst for a group of experts and doing continuous improvement on a production line.
For 2017, I wish you only the best, with the right balance of challenges, hard work, learning and great collaborations.
For me and Céondo, 2016 was simply a great year. The kind of year I enjoy, the one where some new projects are bearing fruits. Cheméo has been growing at a rapid speed with people from all over the world pulling experimental data for their work. After about 2 years of development, the core of Cheméo is now stable with one of the most efficient property prediction engine to date, including both property analysis and model parameters regression.
On the consulting side, one of my highlights was helping a company with some of the most complex thermodynamic problems I know, pushing the limits of fluid phase equilibria calculations where only few people are at ease. The kind of intellectual work making me smile and sweat from start to end.
The 10th of May 2017 Céondo will turn 10. 10 year old on a prime year, 2017 will be a great year! My time will be cut in two. The first part will continue to serve the wonderful customers I have, while the second part will put Cheméo on the market with Cheméo Studio, a modern property analysis and prediction platform drawing from 15 years of experience in the domain. As some early users have already experienced, you will enjoy something better than everything you have used before.

PS: Yes, 2016 ended with a lot to do and started the same way, I am happy to follow the French tradition allowing me to wish you a happy new year until the end of January!
